I was very lucky to be chosen to collaborate with Annie Violet. Annie Violet is an independent business who have a range of fragrances in the form of candles, wax melts, diffusers and more. When I opened the box, I was pleased to see that the company uses eco foam! It is packaging that looks and acts like polystyrene, until it is immersed in water. Then it disappears like corn starch, which is 95% of its content. Here is what was in my package:
Cairo Wax Melt Burner in Black - £12.50
The packaging is beautiful and they're also made from recycled Polypropylene. Not all plastics are bad but the problem comes when it's time to recycle it. The PET shells are frosted, you can tell it is recycled by making sure it has this finish. This type of plastic has the best chance of being recycled in the UK and the clam shells they use are the most environmentally friendly you can use.
The wax they use is vegetable wax. It is vegetarian, vegan friendly and cruelty free. Each cube has over 10 hours of fragrance in them so they are long lasting! I had one cube of Lemongrass & Ginger burning by my bedroom door and I could smell the scent from the bottom of the stairs! That was one of my favourite scents as it reminded me of my holidays when I went to Cambodia.
The Cairo Burner is a brand new item on their website and it's simply stunning. I adore the black and it is going to go beautifully in my soon to be (hopeful) monochrome styled home! This burner also comes in Gloss White too!
I am so impressed by everything that was sent to me. The products and company ethics is second to none!
The wax melts are a really nice weight, strong but not overpowering in the scents and they melt beautifully. Let's not forget the gorgeous packaging too. There are a lot of fragrance businesses out there, I know. Please do give Annie Violet a try and support an independent business today.

These items were gifted. It is my own choice to write this blog post and my review was not influenced by the company and is not sponsored in any way.
